Professional Designations

As part of their program of study, accounting students at the Telfer School of Management can take all the courses required to pursue Ontario’s Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) professional designation.

The Graduate Diploma in Chartered Professional Accountancy is a program designed for those who want to get a head start earning the CPA designation with advanced standing. It includes five courses that address advanced competencies, opening your knowledge in Financial Reporting, Strategy and Governance, Management Accounting, Audit and Assurance, Finance, and Taxation. This diploma prepares you to take the CPA Capstone Modules 1 and 2 offered by CPA Ontario. Upon successful completion of these capstone modules, you are eligible to write the CPA Common Final Examination (CFE).
