Testimonials

Ford – Duane Van Gaalen (winter 2013)

“The internship appealed to me because it gives you a chance to fully immerse yourself in the role. A company like Ford has many different positions and by accepting a longer position you get a better idea of what it's really like to work at the company. In addition, the connections you can make through the internship are invaluable!” To read the full article, click here.

PWGSC – Hassan Souleiman (fall 2011)

“I had a work term at PWGSC during summer 2011. During this internship, I was able to gain experience in the federal government. This experience allowed me to put into practice some of the theories I learned in class. At the end of my work term, I received a part-time contract due to my perseverance and patience.”

DFO – Genevieve Good (summer 2011)

“When I was recruited in the second year of my BCom in Accounting, a career in the public service was something I had not considered. The DFO Internship offered me flexibility during my degree so I was able to gain experience in my field and still be able to participate in an international exchange. I took full advantage of the internship and had a rewarding and challenging experience. Now, I am one year out of my undergrad, enjoying fantastic work-life balance, many opportunities for advancement in my career in the exciting and growing field of internal audit, and developing skills that are in high demand.”
