The official launch of the business week Kuala Lumpur began Sunday evening at the Telfer Executive MBA`s Opening Banquet. The program was honoured to welcome Her Excellency Judith St. George, High Commissioner of Canada in Malaysia. Banquet guests included seven senior-level client representatives of the International Business Consulting Projects who are travelling with the group as well as contacts on the ground.
Sunday began with the exploration of a few key attractions within the city including  Thean Hou Temple, Istana Negara, the National Monument, Royal Selangor Club and the Central Market.
Teams worked diligently while in Canada to set up meetings that would provide value to their project. As the projects transformed in-country, some of teams were able to increase their footprint from initial 2-3 meetings upward to 12 by the end of the week. Each team experienced unique business experiences and meeting locations throughout the week. This included holding a silver bar, presenting on the HMCS Ottawa frigate, as well as exploring 750 acre site of Technology Park Malaysia.
The week culminated on Friday evening with the Closing Banquet held at the Tamarind Hill Restaurant. Executive MBA candidates toasted to their 21 months of experiences and accomplishes, and talked about how this is just a stepping stone to future successes.  Following the end of night and the end of the Telfer Executive MBA program, many candidates arranged for long-awaited personal vacations.
