Thinking back to your childhood, was there a particular profession you dreamed of entering when you were an adult?
I was chosen to sing in the choir of my church and to read the passages during the mass when I was in Grade 6. This where I first dreamed about an occupation in my life: to be a priest. It might be a crazy experience or a unique gift. It is the first image of the leader in me coming forward to change the world.
There are many compelling reasons to undertake an Executive MBA Program. What is your goal for the Telfer Executive MBA Program?
Choosing the Telfer Executive MBA program is a turning point in my life. It is actually my 40th birthday gift to myself. My goal is to rejuvenate my leadership skills and update it in a new language suitable with the international standards of management where “expanding” derives from “self-branding”.
What do you admire in a leader or mentor? Do you have someone who you consider a strong leader or mentor within your life?
Leadership can be defined in so many ways. It grew in time to become influence now, and with time it will require more aspects to take more flavor. It is a key word for change in the world. Thinking about a great model of leader I admire, I would choose the Servant leader who I consider a strong mentor. Jesus, Mother Theresa, Nelson Mandela and so many others are a great example to what a servant leader can influence.
