Convocation 2015: A Day for Celebrating the Class of 2015

Congratulations to the 38 members of the Telfer Executive MBA Class of 2015 who received their degree on Sunday June 14th, 2015.

The convocation ceremonies for the Telfer School of Management took place at the National Art's Centre on the beautiful Sunday afternoon of June 14th.

Following the closing of the official ceremony, graduates, their guests and professors were invited to a private reception in the Fountain Room at the National Art's Centre. Guests enjoyed a selection of hors d'oeuvre and beverages, including the specially ordered Pisco Sour to remind them of their trip to Lima in April. Graduates congratulated each other and graciously received congratulatory messages from other guests, professors and Executive MBA staff.  Some graduates had more to celebrate than just their degree as they had made the decision to pivot in their careers and had successfully changed jobs since the last time the class met in April 2015.

Toward the end of the event Sophia Leong, Director of the Telfer Executive MBA and Julie Beauchamp, Vice-Dean e Telfer School of Management provided their own congratulations and praise to the graduates and  a big 'thank you' for the support they received from their family and friends.

The tradition continued again this year when class presidents of the Class of 2015, Claudine Fugere and Alym Giga closed off the event with the unveiling and presentation of the class gift, a piece of Peruvian pottery to the Telfer Executive MBA Program.

People can see value in what I can do and how I add value to the organization. I have the confidence to do it thanks to the Telfer Executive MBA.
