Telfer MBA Conference Series — We Connect You with Original Thinkers

The Telfer MBA Conferences connect you with original thinkers whose ideas are transforming business and management in Canada and around the world. Do not miss the next upcoming event.

Unravelling the New Venture Creation Process: from Idea to Startup.

Startup ideas can come from anywhere, seldom starting off with a logical, tangible need or gap in the marketplace and often come about as a result of serendipity or chance.  Having a great business idea is only the first step to success.  The challenge is how to turn a startup dream into reality.

The focus of this MBA Conference will be to explore case studies of multiple startup ideas, their genesis and as importantly, the steps the founders took to bring these ideas to market and commercial success. Our panellists represent founders from a wide cross section of industry and business stage and will not only tell their stories, but also help to identify commonalities (process and challenges) associated with the new venture creation process, perhaps putting some semblance of structure around this often chaotic process.
