The Career Centre offers you a variety of practical programs to complement your strong academic foundation. Our programs will help develop your employability skills, acquire professional experience and expose you to networking opportunities.

Internship Programs

Connexions Program (ADM 4904/05)

The Connexions Program is a voluntary internship program that bridges the gap between academic and professional experience. Work one day a week (a minimum of seven hours) for one term (12 weeks) in an organization related to your field of study or interest.

Job Shadowing Program 

The Job Shadowing Program provides you with the opportunity to spend a day with a professional in your field of interest.

Microprogram Capital Markets

The Microprogram Capital Markets is a two year program that provides students with an exceptional learning experience to launch a career in the field of high finance.

Microprogram Management Consulting

The Microprogram Management Consulting is a two-year development program for Telfer School of Management students interested in consulting. An intensive selection process is undertaken to choose 10 Telfer students who are finishing the 2nd year of their Bachelor of Commerce program. These students will participate in weekly extracurricular workshops and case simulations facilitated by consulting professionals.

Marketing Trip to Toronto

The Marketing Trip is a two-night yearly trip to Toronto during the fall reading week. A select group of 20-25 marketing students will head to Toronto to visit a diverse group of companies in the industry.

Ambassador Program

As an Ambassador, you will work closely with the staff at the Career Centre to engage the Telfer student body. This extracurricular activity will allow you to develop skills that will definitely be transferable to your future career.
