Teaching Areas
Brian teaches students at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of management and financial accounting and management control systems. Brian has lectured to undergraduates, graduates, and executives in the areas of accounting, financial management, financial modeling, and project management in Australia, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, China, Fiji, Indonesia, Singapore, South Korea, and Zimbabwe.
Consulting
Brian's consulting experience includes assignments on behalf of Gippsland Internet Pty Ltd, the Hilton International Middle East Asia Pacific Group, Monash Regional Centre for Information & Communications Technology (MRCICT), the Norwegian Agency for Co-operation and Development, Price Waterhouse Management Consultants, and the World Bank. These assignments include business planning, financial statement analysis, development and delivery of public and customized executive training programs, and cost-benefit analysis of government funded export development and health programs.
Research Interests
Development and testing of interactive web-based learning and teaching applications for intermediate and advanced financial and management accounting topics.
