Prof. Quon teaches multivariate statistical methods, business and technology forecasting, and introductory business statistics, and is interested in applying statistics to a wide range of management problems. His current research includes a study of the impacts of the recent financial crisis on enterprise risk management in Canadian companies (with Prof. Maingot and Zeghal), and explorations in Canadian health policy and statistics.
Recent publications include a meta-analysis of the relationship between organizational learning and performance and a confirmatory factor analysis of the underlying dimensions in an organizational learning questionnaire (both in collaboration with Prof. Goh), and a survey analysis of the sampling practices of internal auditors in Canadian corporations (with Prof. Maingot).
Prof. Quon worked over a decade as a consultant and senior manager at the Bureau of Management Consulting (now Government Consulting Services in Public Works and Government Services Canada) and taught previously at the University of Toronto in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
