The 2nd annual P&G competition focuses on Consumer Behaviour
For the second consecutive year, the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and Procter & Gamble will organize a case study competition for third-year students specializing in marketing.
The purpose of the competition is to give students an opportunity to strengthen and apply their knowledge by working on an actual, current marketing management case, and to work on this project throughout the autumn semester. On December 8, 2011 the 6 best of the 30 teams participating in this competition presented their analyses and recommendations to representatives of Procter & Gamble including Sales and Marketing Manager Kathy Litalien, and the two professors of the Consumer Behaviour course Leila Hamzaoui and Michael Mulvey.
The 3 winning teams were:
Caroline Brisson, Clio Morfino, Eric Charette Valois, M.A Aubin, Nadine Petrin
Laura Barrett, Anna Lim, Candice Moore, Corrin Whiteway, Melissa Wing
Cameron Clark, Max Gasque, Shaheed Mohamed, Adrian Mulligan
As well as building their skills and experience, the finalists will also participate in P&G’s 2011/2012 recruitment effort (www.pg.com or www.experiencepg.com/canada).
