Students from Top US and Mexico MBAs at the Telfer School's 8th Canadian Leadership Orientation Program

May 27, 2012, marked the beginning of the 8th Annual Canadian Leadership Orientation Program hosted by the Telfer School of Management. This initiative is a week long program on Canada for top MBA students from across the U.S. and Mexico. Also, 14 Telfer MBA students and 4 uOttawa Political Science Students will be participating. The 2012 D. Allan Bromley Memorial Lectures: A Huge Success!

This year’s Bromley Memorial Event was a huge success. Hosted by the Institute for Science, Society and Policy (ISSP) at the University of Ottawa, the event welcomed as its keynote speaker one of North America’s leading thinkers on science policy. It laid the groundwork for a new science, technology and innovation community with its secretariat at ISSP, the Ingenuity G20 + network. And it brought together almost 30 international visitors including faculty and graduate students from 14 countries for three packed days of research enrichment, policy discussion, and networking. This series of articles focuses on the University of Ottawa's Telfer School of Management Executive MBA class trip to the Silicon Valley. Telfer MBA Student Blog: International Management Trip to Europe

The Telfer MBA program focuses particular attention on high performance organizations. The trip to Europe is designed to provide MBA students with a perspective on what high performance organizations look like in a European environment. With this in mind, the Telfer School has arranged for the MBA students to travel to Brussels, Antwerpen, Leuven and Paris to meet with executives from Nike, Google, Accenture, l’Oréal, Sodexo, Deloitte, Alcatel Lucent and Ivanhoe Cambridge Europe.
