Tuition fees

Visit the University of Ottawa website for details on the MBA tuition fees. Note that the tuition fees for the spring/summer term will only be known next April. They are normally the same as those for the winter term, except for the incidental fees.

Payment of fees

Tuition and incidental fees are subject to annual adjustment by the Board of Governors of the University. Fees rate and regulations are posted on uOttawa's website.

Delinquent financial account

Tuition and incidental fees must be paid prior to the beginning of each term (not block). Any outstanding fees (unpaid tuition fees, late library fees, etc.) will prevent you from registering for the next term, obtaining official documents, such as official transcripts and enrolment confirmation, and so on.

Incidental fees

  • Medical and dental: All University of Ottawa students must have medical and dental coverage. You may be exempt from paying these fees if you are already covered by another plan. To be exempt, you will need to contact the Graduate Students' Association  (GSAÉD) and provide proof of coverage.
  • Universal transit pass (U-Pass): All full-time students are charged a fee for the period from September to April of every year. Contact the Graduate Students' Association  (GSAÉD) for more details.

Books and related material

Approximately $1,500 should be allocated towards the cost of books and other material during the course of your program. We also strongly recommend the use of a laptop computer.

Scholarships

You are encouraged to apply for scholarships and awards, which are available throughout the year, but mostly in the fall. A list of available scholarships and the eligibility criteria can be consulted on uoZone or the MBA website. Scholarships are deposited into your account once registration is complete. Any problems should be brought to the attention of the Telfer Graduate Office as soon as possible.
