As an international candidate, you will be settling in Ottawa for at least a year as you progress through the program. The links below will help you make the most of the resources available to you to help make your MBA a memorable experience.

Living in Ottawa

The campus is located in the heart of the city of Ottawa, Canada's capital. We have the luxury of being right downtown, so that everything is within walking distance. Ottawa’s Byward Market is the city’s premiere shopping, cultural and entertainment district. The Telfer School is 5 minutes from the Byward Market and across the street from the Rideau Canal. Also, the University is about 15 minutes away from the Canadian Museum of History, the Gatineau Hills, and Parliament Hill.

Working in Canada

Some Telfer MBA international students want to get a head start on their careers or find a job that helps them pay their bills. Our program’s location in the heart of a G7 capital gives these students exceptional opportunities to work while studying.
