Biography

Swee Goh is Professor of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and Emeritus Professor at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa and also has a cross-appointment with the Faculty of Education. Prior to joining the University of Ottawa, he taught at Dalhousie University, McMaster University and the University of Toronto.

He is currently on the Editorial Board of SAM-Advanced Management Journal, the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation and Research and Practice in Human Resource Management. He is also a member of the Academy of Management, the Administrative Science Association of Canada, the Society for the Advancement of Management and the American and Canadian Evaluation Societies.

Research Interests and Scholarly Activities

Professor Goh’s primary research interests focus on organizational learning, the building of learning capacity in organizations and its link to organizational performance. Other areas of research include public sector performance management, evaluation capacity building, knowledge transfer and managing organizational change. Professor Goh publishes his research in both applied and academic journals in management. His current research is on scale development in the measuring of organizational learning capability and understanding effective public sector performance management.
