Notice biographique

Le professeur Khoroshilov a reçu son doctorat en finances de l’Université du Michigan, à Ann Arbor, en 2005. Il détient aussi une maîtrise en économie de cette université, ainsi qu’une maîtrise en mathématiques de l’Université d’État de Moscou, en Russie.  Ses travaux de recherche portent notamment sur les finances d’entreprise, la théorie des jeux, la théorie des enchères et l'économie comportementale et expérimentale.. Il a enseigné l’application de méthodes statistiques en affaires, les statistiques de gestion, la gestion financière, la finances des entreprises, les titres sûrs à revenu fixe, la gouvernance d’entreprise, les options et les opérations à terme ainsi que les finances internationales.

Publications et prix

Les travaux de M. Khoroshilov sont publiés dans de nombreuses revues dont le contenu est examiné par un comité de lecture réputées en économie et en finances, dont le Journal of Financial Intermediation , la Financial Review, Games and Economic Behavior, Economic Letters, le Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Managerial Decision and Economics, la Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, et l’Atlantic Economic Journal. Il est aussi récipiendaire de plusieurs prix d’excellence en recherche de l’École de gestion Telfer, du prix de la meilleure communication en finances d’entreprise décerné à la réunion de la Southern Finance Association en 2005 et du prix de la meilleure communication du congrès des professeurs débutants décerné à la réunion de la Northeast Business and Economics Association en 2009.
