What is the purpose of the interactive map?
"Telfer World" is an interactive map that allows you to see where all of the Telfer School's 20,000 alumni are located and how many are in senior or executive positions with their organisations.
Who are the "Alumni Leaders"
Telfer alumni occupy important positions all over the world. Some of these leaders have submitted their profile to us, along with social media networking links. If you are one of our alumni leaders, you can submit your profile on this site.
Is this an alumni directory?
No. We do not release our alumni's private contact information publicly. The Linked with Leadership Portal showcases where our alumni population is distributed all over the world and provides insight into the types of positions they occupy.
What do the Event and Travel markers on the map represent?
For Events, we pull in a dynamic events feed that originates from the Telfer School's online calendar. The map's focus is mainly on events that are occurring outside of the Ottawa area.
For Travel (or On the Move), we are showcasing international destinations where Telfer School representatives will host events, present at conferences, etc.
Our "What's On" section provides a map and listing for both Events and Travel.
